Founded
Smart Pyramids (Egypt), LLC incorporated on 22 Nov 2020 as the technology arm of Pyramids Group.
2020–2025
Services & Implementation Phase
Delivered smart building transformation projects as a services provider — hotels, offices, homes, and public facilities.
2025
Product Development Begins
Started developing and manufacturing specialized smart building products — switches, sensors, and controllers.
Dec 2025
UNDP x Flat6Labs
Accepted into GGJAP accelerator — Cohort 4, in collaboration with UNDP and Flat6Labs.
2026
Strategic Corporate-Startup Partnerships (SCSP)
Joined SCSP — run by Plug and Play Africa, Changelabs and adelphi, delivered by GIZ Egypt (PSI II) for Germany's BMZ with Egypt's Ministry of Industry — matching startups with developers, energy groups and manufacturers for paid pilots.

Egypt Makes Electronics × TUM International
Joined the EME acceleration track by ITIDA (MCIT) with GIZ Egypt and TUM International — design for manufacturing, SMT/PCBA production, EMC pre-compliance testing and local assembly.

Awarded the official Startup Label by MSMEDA, Egypt's Micro, Small & Medium Enterprise Development Agency.
